Message from the President of Fletcher Society and the Scientific Committee:
Dear Colleagues,
      We are pleased to announce that the MD Anderson Radiation Oncology Gilbert H. Fletcher Society 2019 annual meeting will be held in conjunction with the Tianjin International Forum on Radiation Oncology in Tianjin, May 24-26, 2019. This joint conference, hosted by Tianjin Cancer Hospital, is co-organized by MD Anderson Radiation Oncology Gilbert H. Fletcher Society, the Radiation Oncology Professional Committee, Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, and Tianjin Medical University Cancer Hospital & Institute. This conference will grant National Continue Education Class I credit.
       The theme of the conference is “Accelerating Oncologic Advances through Individualized and Precision Therapy”, with a focus on advancement in radiation oncology including immunotherapy, cancer imaging, biomarker studies and particle therapy. We have assembled a group of outstanding speakers who are leaders of their respective fields. This conference will provide an excellent opportunity for direct communication and exchange of ideas, and for development of multidisciplinary multi-institutional research collaborations with peers in and outside China.
       We extend our warmest invitations to every colleague to join this international forum. We are looking forward to seeing you all in Tianjin in May 2019. We also welcome all MD Anderson alumni from China and around the world to become members of the MD Anderson Radiation Oncology Gilbert H. Fletcher Society (more to come….)
